Peking University First Hospital's Daxing Campus is an integral part of Peking University First Hospital and was officially inaugurated on December 18, 2023. It stands as the sole top-tier medical facility within the Daxing District, situated at No. 5 and No. 7 Leyuan Road, Daxing District, in close proximity to the Fifth Ring Road and a 500-meter walk north of the "Gaomi Di Nan" Station on the Line 4 subway. Spanning an area of approximately 216,000 square meters, the campus accommodates a total of 1,200 beds, comprising 400 pediatric beds, 200 beds for gynecology and obstetrics, and 600 beds for other comprehensive care services.

The establishment of the Daxing Campus is designed to deliver premium medical resources and to construct a contemporary medical service infrastructure. It works in harmony with the central and Miyun campuses, establishing a north-south dynamic that bolsters the national healthcare agenda. Upholding the "large specialties, small comprehensive" approach in its academic structure, the campus encompasses 42 specialties within its outpatient department. With the exception of a few departments, appointments for the others can be made through the WeChat public service account, 114, and other platforms, anticipating a daily outpatient volume of 7,500 individuals.

Moreover, the Daxing Campus is dedicated to the development of five major distinctive medical centers: the Women and Children's Medical Center, the Oncology Treatment Center, the Endoscopy Diagnosis and Treatment Center, the Emergency and Critical Care Center, and the Interventional Treatment Center. These centers are tailored to address the diverse healthcare needs of patients. The founding of the hospital has not only amplified the medical service capabilities across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region but has also refined the medical resource allocation in the vicinity of Beijing. It spearheads and propels the strategic growth of the "New National Gate, New Daxing" initiative, extending its medical reach to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area and beyond, across the nation.
